At Still Life our choices matter, and so do yours.
We choose local first, to help encourage the economic success of our talented Aotearoa makers, artists and designers.
We’re low waste advocates, consciously limiting our carbon impact by using live plants, selecting quality made products, from natural or recycled materials. We mindfully selected a mixture of new and used furniture and goods when building our collection, reducing our footprint.
Marita deals with the communications, styling and visuals, she’s also an accomplished visual artist, her work included in significant collections nationwide. “I like to think of home styling as similar to painting or sculpture - creating compositions through establishing relationships with form, colour and materials in space”.

Cam’s our incredibly important truck driver and heavy lifter. Once on site his contributive approach is garnered by his personality, slow to start but then incredibly committed to taking the time to do things properly, and with careful style. “I take great pride in offering a professional service to vendors, it’s satisfying to transform properties and homes into welcoming, inviting and tidy spaces.”
Partners in business and in life, Marita grew up in Kerikeri and Cam has Whakatāne roots. Our daughter Ebony goes to Kerikeri Primary School. You’ve probably seen us around if you’re local too.
